2009 was a tough year and one I wasn’t sorry to see come to an end. That said, I think it’s important that we take some time to reflect on what we learned over the past year, and celebrate making it through a year that was personally (and professionally) challenging for many of us. Let’s face it: anyone can do well in good times. It’s an individual’s response to difficulty that demonstrates the content of their character. So far, I’ve been trying to face everything with a smile and positive attitude. People who don’t know me can’t even comprehend what goes on behind closed door. But that’s between me, myself and God.
I don’t think 2010 will be much easier for me personally, there are still many challenges ahead of me, but I am hopeful for the promise of 2010 and believe it holds a tremendous opportunity that lies ahead. I believe it will be much better than the year we just completed. As the year goes on, we will once again have good news to share and accomplishments to celebrate with friends and family.
At New Year’s eve, when the ball drop (on TV) I paused, take a deep breath, said little pray that this will be a year of accomplishment for all of us.
I wanted thank everybody who’s been there for me through the bad and the good. Who can see me for who I really am and still believe in me and support me. Your love and support will never go un notice. I truly love you with all my hearts.
Here’s to Hope, friendship and love… Welcome 2010!
